Project Management
Anyone managing change, whether for themselves or on behalf of other stakeholders, needs to learn some simple to use tools to retain control through each stage of the project management cycle.
Our programmes are aimed at Team Leaders and team members who bring about change – and that covers just about everybody! We explore the four stages of Project Management – Scoping, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation – and apply particular tools and techniques so that nothing is left to chance, needs are accurately identified, appropriate resources are organised, expectations are managed, and the change is achieved within agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
We don’t just provide the hard project management skills of knowing how to create and apply a network diagram or Gantt Chart: ensuring the team and stakeholders are ‘on board’ is equally as important, and so our programmes focus on managing the people as much as the process. The popularity of ‘The Project Management Pocketbook’ (see our link on the home page) is that it relates to everyday jobs and activities, as most of us are in some way managing a project. Our programmes apply the same ethos but we can also provide the learning environment, practice and feedback that a book alone cannot.
Time Management
How is it that some people appear to be successful in accomplishing their goals yet others struggle under the weight of their workload? Why is it that some people can get away with saying “No”, yet you can’t?
Perhaps our selection of tools and techniques will have the solution you need. Making clear distinction between being effective and being efficient, we help you to define what makes you successful before equipping you with the tools to prioritise your workload and the techniques to control and manage it, despite interruptions. Even so that you can say “No” and get away with it!
